Educating the Next Generation of Creatives
FRAME OF MIND PROJECT
Frame of Mind Project is my nonprofit dedicated to helping teens develop photography skills, creative thinking, and storytelling abilities. We provide hands-on training, mentorship, and access to real-world creative opportunities.
Our programs run year-round and are designed to give students the confidence, technical skills, and network to thrive in creative industries. I also host monthly workshops for all ages — from in-studio sessions at Studio 3K: NYC to immersive photo walks through New York City’s streets.

Step inside a working photography studio and learn photography through hands-on experience. In-Studio with Daniel J Vasquez is designed for photographers of all skill levels who want to better understand lighting, posing, camera settings, and the creative process behind professional portrait photography.
Each workshop offers a behind-the-scenes look at how Daniel approaches a shoot, from setting up lights and directing subjects to creating images with intention and impact. Participants will have the opportunity to photograph live models, ask questions in real time, and gain practical techniques they can immediately apply to their own work.
Whether you're looking to build confidence in the studio, improve your portraits, or elevate your creative vision, these sessions provide a supportive environment to learn, create, and connect with fellow photographers.
