Premiere of #ZEDDY
Last night I stopped by AMC Lincoln after a long no school day with the little one: park, tennis lessons and a little shopping. My dear friend Chanel, super publicist, asked me to cover the Premiere of #Zeddy Season 1 and to bring Harper since she brought her son too. I love us working parents. It won't stop us from getting things done, and I truly love exposing Harper to the different environments I'm a part of. I also get to save babysitting money whenever I have a kid-friendly event.
Straightforward night, event-wise: red carpet, show premiere, and a Q&A talkback at the end.
Episode 1 of #Zeddy was amazing in my opinion, and inspiring to know that Matt Coole, the director, and Zeddy started filming this randomly, just the two of them, two years ago, and it has really taken off. They shared some bad news at the very end: the show's six-episode season would not be premiering the following day and their whole release schedule had to change. But the amazing news: hours before this in-person premiere, the show got picked up by a "major network." So obviously things are shifting for the better. It was amazing to see the raw emotion from Zeddy. I'm happy for him and his team, especially the way he uplifts the people around him with his platform and fame.
I really believe Matt and Zeddy's words in IG Reel below resonate: take whatever camera you have, your phone, whatever you can get your hands on, and just start filming. You could really change your life.
