One thing I've been watching lately is my Instagram Insights. My "Spend Dat" reel from Summer Jam back in July is still getting shared months later at a record rate I haven't seen on any of my other videos. She has quickly surpassed my Lil Kim reel to become my most watched content, sitting at 2.5M views.
I'm always curious why the same video can perform so completely differently on TikTok vs Instagram. On the Tok it's at 160K views total. My Instagram post was originally about 1.1M views, but since the album announcement the views started skyrocketing again. As the moment was unfolding I knew it would be big, but not this big. Though as I'm writing this I just remembered my Instagram post is a collab post with Hot97, so it makes sense to also have their audience.
Yung Miami announced her debut solo album, Watch Dis, dropping October 23. Women in rap are really pushing the industry forward in an amazing way. The album is 20 tracks with Quavo, G Herbo, Lil Baby, Kodak Black, Shenseea, and Vybz Kartel on it.
Shot at Hot 97 Summer Jam 2026. Yung Miami set was entertaining and always getting to photograph Lola & Fat Joe on the stage is dope.
