B Dot x Levis

 

Friday night in Times Square wasn’t just another event in the city, it felt like a family reunion. I ran into folks I hadn’t seen in years, had my cousin in town to hang out, and met a few new faces along the way.


The night was centered around the Nas x Levi’s collaboration and their new merch drop, but for us, it was really about celebrating B Dot being featured in the campaign.


B Dot asked me to stop by and capture the night for him and I’m glad I did. It was one of those moments that reminded me how tight-knit our community truly is. From the moment you walked in, you were handed your choice of a tee from the collection and a tote bag. In the back, guests could get custom Nas inspired screen prints or patches with any purchase.


The energy was right; drinks flowing on both floors, the DJ spinning classics until the live band took over. The four piece ensemble opened with Nas' tracks and blended in a few pop favorites. Their set was soulful and had everyone rocking.


Then Nas himself joined the crowd to catch the performance. The band definitely deserved their flowers, they really did their thing!


What started as a quick two hour event turned into a night filled with love, laughter, and good energy with my cousin and the homies. It stretched until 3 AM and turned into a whole other adventure, one for another time.
